        I bought a pork pie at the Boat Inn Jackfield a couple of weeks ago and I had the ask the landlord/lady who the supplier was as I believe it was the best I've ever tasted and was told it was supplied by Russells of Broseley. I shall be going to the Boat Inn again from Shrewsbury tonight and no doubt will be sampling another, plus another to take out. ...superb pies!

        Bought 2 Russell's medium pies from my regular meat suppliers, one Turkey, one Lamb and Mint.... Oh Dear..!!! Firstly no reheating instructions... and use by date very very close! The filling was mainly a 'white sauce', think I found 3 pieces of very 'small' Turkey hidden away. The white sauce was ok, but if I wanted a white sauce pie, I would looked for one . The edge of the crust was hard and inedible. I look forward to 'Hunt the Lamb'...when I heat the other pie....has to be soon as use by date so close. Very disappointing to say the least..
