We booked this as a last minute break over Easter and we're not disappointed. After a long drive we arrived an hour before the check in time but having parked up we went into the hotel to let them know we had arrived and were very happy to learn that our room was ready and we could check in straight away. The check in was friendly and informative. Our room on the second floor was spacious and comfortable. It didn't have much of a view but it didn't really matter as we were only using it to sleep in. Breakfast was buffet style and sometimes there was a wait for some of the hot items to be replenished but it was always tasty. There is a nice lounge and bar area and some of the restaurant tables were in a sunroom with lovely views. The hotel is set in seven acres with a lovely terrace to sit out on and lovely gardens to walk through. There is a swimming pool at the hotel but unfortunately it was closed when we were there due to equipment breakdown which we understand is being replaced in due course. The hotel is in a perfect location close to the seafront, has parking on site and was a comfortable base for a few days away. I would happily stay there again.
