The Teignmouth Medical Practice

Awfull , wish I could of opted for zero stars . Removed me from their patient list after many years because I have a surgery that is 0.4 miles closer to my home . My son schools in Teignmouth and I have lived / worked there all my life . Disgusted with their attitude.

I have changed surgeries due to the terrible way Teignmouth Medical Practice is run. Receptionists gatekeep to the extreme - on the whole, the GPs were really good, but getting to speak to one depends on the mood of the receptionist, of course. A complaint about incorrect notes on my file was 'rectified' by restricting my access to these files, rather than addressing the situation or removing incorrect information (presumably - I don't know, it's restricted!). This is a surgery which clearly has no desire to improve. After all, it's easier to sweep it all under the rug. The two GPs who I found to be really good (they were professional, got you to the point quickly, ensured follow up and were keen to ensure that you were on the right path for you) have since left the surgery. I'm happy for them! ETA: my experience with the nurses was fabulous; friendly, professional and organised.

Had to see the nurse today. What a lovely lady. She even gave me my flu jab . Just had to write a nice message . Thankyou for making my visit a very good one x

Could do with some friendlier reception staff!! Everytime I ring they are so grumpy! I get people hate thier job but still could atleast sound like they care! Not helpful at all. So dismissive.
