I would highly recommend this Nursery, my eldest has just left to start school and thanks to happy days staff she has transitioned into school with confidence and at a developmental level that has allowed her to cope with her new learning environment. In her 2 years at happy days she loved everyday she was there and built some solid friendships with other children and the staff. My son is now at happy days and he also loves going there. The staff here are warm, kind and caring......they are a really lovely team who are all passionate about caring for children.

I have 3 children who have been at this nursery for the last 5.5 years continuously (2 are still attending) and I trust the staff, their processes and their commitment to providing the best standard of childcare without any reservations. The staff are kind, caring and supportive. The management are open, honest and genuine. They provide excellent opportunities for the children in a safe environment. I am appalled by Ofsted recent inspection but hand on heart know that this isnt a true reflection of the standard of care offered by Happy Days and their dedicated team. If you are looking for childcare for your child I wholeheartedly recommend Happy Days. Thank you for everything ladies

My daughter loves it and asks to go to nursery even at weekends. The staff are absolutely wonderful, carrying, nurturing and committed to the children in their care. A few years back we visited a number of nurseries in the area and from the very first visit to Happy Days we knew this is where we wanted our daughter to go. The manager was so understanding of the anxieties and worries new parents like us were experiencing when choosing a nursery and immediately put our minds at ease. Our daughter started the nursery at 6 months old and the lovely staff have helped her develop into a socially confident pre-schooler. It is great to see the children forming friendships, they are kind to each other and play well with each other. And this is all thanks to the dedication and hard work of the staff. Thank you Happy Days nursery! This review was written in response to the recent Ofsted report which fails to mention all the brilliant things about Happy Days nursery and also fails to acknowledge the hard work and dedication of all staff at Happy Days.

My daughter has been going to HDN since she was 4 months old and she has had nothing but positive experiences. She is now a confident, friendly, cheeky and curious pre-schooler who has the great fortune to be part of an equally great cohort of friends. The new language, skills, creativity and enthusiasm to learn, which she comes home with every day, are wholly attributable to the dedication, attention and efforts of the staff. From the moment I stepped into HDN I immediately knew this was where I wanted my child to be cared for and I have never been disappointed. The director, Julie Hibberd, has been incredibly flexible and supportive through a number of work / personal / financial related crises and my support of her and her team will be returned tenfold, as they work hard to address the issues which Ofsted have chosen to focus on in their October 2019 Report. As one parent this evening said - "the transparency of the management shows great leadership" and a willingness to do what it takes to ensure Ofsted's next inspection demonstrates that which needs to be seen and more. Of course, as a parent I want to know my child is safe but in 3 years I have had no reason to doubt or question it and just want to say shame on you Ofsted for not reflecting more of the positives we as parents see every day in our beautiful, clever happy children!

I looked at all of the nurseries in this and the surrounding area before deciding where to send my little one at 10months old when I returned to work. I chose Happy Days for a number of reasons some of which are below; 1) it offered the best facilities, being a secure, all ground level, purpose built facility with lots of outside space. 2) On the occasions I visited, the children and staff were happy and content and there were lots of activities and toys for them to play with. 3) Their use of online applications to update parents on children's progress and what they have been up to. 4) The girls at the nursery are passionate about what they do and that really comes across in how they interact with both the parents and the children. My little one has come on so much in the short time she has been there, developmentally and socially too. She has already formed close connections with her key worker and room leader and cannot wait to go each day to play with them and her friends. I was a truly apprehensive about leaving my baby but, the girls have made this transition as seamless as possible. I have nothing but praise for Julie and her team and would highly recommend this nursery to anyone looking for somewhere to send their child.
