Lloyds Bank

My visit today was truly horrendous, waiting in a queue with only two cashiers open, no one on the information desk, elderly customers with walking frames struggling. This was simply because one cashier was dealing with an account problem that could not be sorted out, went to get assistance from the branch manager who also could not sort the problem. Clearly there the cashier should have taken steps to move this problem over sooner. What should have happened is this customer could have been taken aside and dealt with to allow other patient customers to get served. The other cashier also had a slow transaction of printing off several bank statements when I eventually got to the counter I was greeted with you could have use the self service for this ! I pointed out I did not wish to do this I wanted to use the counter service, no apology for the long wait customer service is lacking showing some respect for people who are playing the wages of bank staff. You had two other members of staff on site behind the counter who should have taken some action in dealing with the queue which by the time I was served was out of the bank doors. One would understand more if it can be seen that staff are doing all they can to serve us the customer as efficiently and politely as possible.

Served by a most unhelpful woman who told me l should be using the machine and not her. As l had several tasks to perform, one involving change l stupidly thought she could do all the transactions required not just two. This has happened before at this branch, l was not happy.
