A cheery greeting at the bar and plenty of choice of beverages then seated
promptly.
The menu was very good with specials available so we had squid, tiger prawns and pate to start and absolutely scrumptious and even offered extra toast for the pate which was appreciated as never had this offered elsewhere and always seem to have heaps of pate leftover.
The waiting staff and Management were charming hosts and all our food arrived so quickly.
We had the gammon, mussels and fish and chips for mains which were delicious and so generous in size. Only 2 of us could manage the sticky toffee pud with homemade creme anglaise and fruit meringue
