Pomp and Ceremonies

Jess was the best celebrant we could wish for. She is so friendly and charismatic! She wrote a script that perfectly reflected us as a non-traditional couple (queer, poly, and very nerdy!). We had so many guests telling us they loved the ceremony and this was entirely due to her efforts. She went the extra mile in meeting up with us the night before, making sure to meet the wedding party and ensured we all knew what to do. She spoke beautifully. It was a privilege to be married by Jess. Thank you so so much.

Jess was a joy to work with from start to finish. Throughout the long-delayed preparations for our wedding due to COVID, Jess was patient and communicative. It was a delight to meet her in person on the day, and she was such a warm, friendly, and reassuring presence. Her ceremony was wonderful and added such depth and emotion to our special day. Jess was absolutely fabulous to work with. We met a couple of times on zoom before the big day (pandemic problems). She learnt everything about our story and what was important to us. She then created a unique, personalised script for us. On the day she was professional and supportive to both of us. I would highly recommend Pomp and Ceremonies for any special event

Hi Jess, I just wanted to say a massive thank you for yesterday and the lead up to our big day. I thought you were amazing and your words were spot on. I am so glad we had you to present our wedding as I don't think anyone else could have got it any where near and personal as what you did. So on to my speech. I think it went really well and had plenty of compliments. Most of all I didn't balls it up and didn't pass out. For someone who is petrified of public speaking as you know, I actually felt fairly confident to do it (but still petrified) and this was all down to you and the work you had put in to helping me. If it hadn't of been for you I honestly would not have done a speech. To any future grooms that I know, I will definitely be recommending you. Once again, thank you so much. Ryan & Ellie
