A really well organised Fishery and a lovely place to fish. As a fairly inexperienced fisherman, I was really impressed with the help and advice offered by Gavin. Also they have good facilities with Tea/Coffee, snacks etc all included in the price. A very enjoyable day! Thank you

10 anglers in 5hrs 1fish caught. Very little activity and what fishi did see in the margins on the big lake had pink fungus on them. In over 30 years of fishing its the 1st time I can say its the first and last time I'll go to a fishery, Very poor

Lovely location and cottage. However, the hosts were rude and unapproachable. Firstly, I would like to mention that we are very respectful and clean people. When taking the dogs for a walk, Abi rudely confronted, saying that the dogs should not swim in the lake. There were no signs of this and this was not mentioned at any point. Despite apologising, she continued by saying that we would make her house all wet and that she has "never had to deal with tenants like this before". This put a downer on the holiday and we started to walk on eggshells. Also, if you are going to make your cottage dog friendly, you would expect that the dogs may get wet in the rain on a walk. We obviously cleaned them and dried them as we didn't want the house to get wet either. Other encounters included being told off for turning the hot tub up 1 degree and being told to hoover or she would charge us extra (although we cleaned up after ourselves anyway). We continued to walk on eggshells so we ensured that the property was clean when we left (we hoovered everywhere, dusted downstairs and mopped all hard floors) but she still charged us extra because apparently the chairs were unclean. You can't win. So all in all, lovely place but the demeanor of Abi put a downer on our stay. It was a shame because we are respectful and polite people but she seemed to assume otherwise.
