        A cycle and footpath following the old railway line past Tavistock. There is evidence that the dog poo bin has been set alight in the non too distant past and a cabinet housing possibly electronics was pretty comprehensively covered in graffiti. The path is reasonably wide and currently not too muddy. In winter when the trees are not covered in leaves I think the views as you go along would be pretty good. Views from the viaduct across the town are worth the visit.
