    Edit: we have since spoken to Daniel and we fully understand and appreciate why our experience with him may not have been typical given the circumstances of this year. Taking on too much because you don't want to let down anyone who has had to reschedule the last two years is a mistake you'll only make once! He was a fantastic photographer on the day and we were blown away by the photographs, we would definitely recommend him. This is a difficult review to write as on the one hand Daniel's skills as a photographer are clearly amazing and he was absolutely fantastic on our wedding day. He kindly offered to do a free mini shoot at our venue as he had not been there before, the photos from which gave us great confidence that our wedding ones would be equally stunning. However like in other reviews, he was impossible to get hold of both before and after the wedding, taking weeks to respond to emails or messages. We were promised photo previews within a couple of days of the wedding which we had to chase up 2 weeks later when we still hadn't received anything. We understand that due to Covid cancellations he was heavily booked up this season which may have resulted in delays, however the complete lack of communication and false promises of delivery dates was unprofessional and left us feeling frustrated. We waited 14 weeks to receive access to the online gallery, giving Daniel the benefit of the doubt considering how busy he was this year and despite the contract saying 6-8 weeks. During this time we received one update from him at 10 weeks promising the photos by the end of the week which did not happen. The photos were stunning and he is clearly a very skilled photographer, however everything either side of the wedding day was extremely frustrating.

    Daniel was very quick to rectify the issues and we are satisfied now thank you. Daniel was recommended to us by the venue we were getting married at which is St Audries in Somerset. He was great on the day, got on very well with everyone which was amazing to see. HOWEVER, when it came to getting the pictures back?? That has been a different story - took months after the wedding to get the pictures back well half of the pictures - I say half because we had a photo booth on the day that he provided us and said well get the pictures in like a picture book form of some sort. I messaged him a week ago to chase where all the photobooth pictures are but still no reply. Yes he might be busy BUT is unreasonable to ask for a service We have already paid in full for? I dont think so. Maybe we should have paid half then the other half on completion as Im sure well not have this kind of trouble if he was waiting to be paid. To the next couple please do your own research and maybe not a recommendation from the venue Id say. VERY DISAPPOINTING.

    We came across daniel online and fell in love with his portfolio and great reviews and his eye for taking natural photos in the wedding setting. And for the price for providing the service we were hooked. Before the wedding he was fantastic in helping us plan out a timeline for the day of (photo wise) and was generally a really nice easy going guy! On the day of he had some car troubles and was a tad late however he limped his car here and there to cover our special day, which we were so grateful for. However after the wedding we didn't hear from him when he said he'd be in contact (few days after wedding) so I decided to email him and call him and text him with no previel (at this point I started to panick) eventually after some weeks went by I got a reply to which he needed more time with photos and had apologised for the hold up due to personal reasons. However the long and short of it it took nearly 8 weeks for sample / sneak peek photos of our day and nearly 11 weeks to get our full gallery! (Contract stated 4-6 week return on photos) We were so relieved to finally receive our photos that it wasn't till we had looked through them several times that we noticed rushed editing, missing photos of your general stuff like Bouquet and buttonhole close ups ect. So I emailed again to question this and mention about the free prints we were promised as an apology for making us wait so long (as we had not recieved them) and low and behold silence and no response! We have got to the point that we are fed up of chasing the problem and have now had some of the photos re-edited by another photographer. Such a shame as you were a star on the run up to the day and the day itself. Unfortunately covid has played its part in all of this and has been the reason daniel had so many weddings to cover this year, and us as a couple were grateful that he could accommodate our moved date however quality over quantity should have been considered when it comes to people's special day and there photos that will last a lifetime. Ps. Didn't want to leave a review like this but unfortunately we were left no choice when you stopped communicating. Hopefully you will take this on board for the future.

    200 deposit lost. I'm sure Daniels work is great, and under normal circumstances he would have delivered a good product. However we had to cancel our wedding due to Covid and could not re-book as He could not do our new date. My 1 star review is due to the fact that Daniel still had no drama keeping our deposit of 200. I appriciate everyone is struggling, but the truth remains that he kept a deposit for a service we did not recieve and had to cancel for something completely out of our control, especially at a time that is mega expensive for us (booking a wedding) . 1 OK all OK Daniel.
