Pizza Hut

Awful service... Practically none. We had to book our food via their website where they asked for a tip up front. We had to move tables because it was so rocky and wobbly we couldn't eat on it. The salad didn't have much variety although it was fresh and nice so plus point. The pizzas we're lovely but don't bother with the pea protein pepperfoni as that was quite tasteless. We then waited 20 minutes with an uncleared table and the two waitresses standing at the front door chatting with their arms folded. Frustrated we had to fetch them to let them know we were ready for our pudding. We waited and waited then got up again. The surely waitress arrived with the puddings and our table still uncleared. We then had to ask her if she could clear our table first, please. She seemed unimpressed and a bit surely and with obviously disingenuous "politeness" not sure that's the right word (politeness not disingenuous). Before we arrived we phoned and asked if we could reserve a table they said no. When we arrived there was a reserved table which was later filled. Being honest, it's been some years since we've been to a pizza hut, what happened? The whole experience lacked any form of personal touch which you pay for by dining out! It all seemed like fast food not restaurant dining. Won't be going again, we'll stick with a Domino's takeout, half the price, twice the taste and no upset by unfulfilled expectations.

Wanted to take grandson for 6th birthday Could not book in advance as web site not working! Got there to be told no room. Waste of space... dont bother trying!! We went to O Bridge pub in the end. Had lovely meal with friendly staff

I love UK pizza hut (i live in California)and have ate there for over 30 years. This one had prompt service and pizza was deep and crispy. But menu options have decreased, prices gone up and cheese / toppings now alarmingly far from the edge. Still a good food stop off the M5 though.
