I'm a long-term resident at the Royal Ashton, as I am currently undertaking a university course with a placement year in Taunton. Before I moved here, I was apprehensive since I had never lived in a hotel for such an extended period.
The room that was offered to me has all the essentials, including a squeaky clean ensuite and ample storage facilities.
I must say, I cannot fault the staff who work here. Nora, Meow, Rhonda, Meg (manager), Emma (assistant manager), Emma (night staff), Pippa (weekend duty manager), and Salih (night staff) - who used to be staff here but have since moved on to other opportunities - as well as Mark (night/day staff), all deserve recognition for their exceptional service with a smile.
They ensure my stay is always pleasant, by going above and beyond to assist me or just having a friendly chat. I truly consider the Royal Ashton my home away from home. Unfortunately, my stay will be coming to an end in a few months but I know I've left with friends who feel like my family members.
Thank you, everyone, for everything you have done. I am sincerely grateful for your efforts.
