They were very happy with their rooms hence the score although I didn't stay.
The main reason for my review is to comment on the food as I am aware that the hotel has a new head chef and catering team and what a change they have made in a very short space of time. Seriously the food was superb, both the presentation and execution of each dish we had was excellent. I would argue that our food last night was the best you will find anywhere in Taunton.
The service was also of a high standard which made for a first class evening.
The bread & butter pudding with custard was out of this world!
