Hell on earth. Some staff don't care. Night staff are even sadistic. Activities room closed every 5 mins so staff can have a fag. Activities and drs appointments constantly cancelled and rearranged without notice. Avoid this place at all costs. Someone should go undercover in there.

Found the staff very welcoming, helpful, kind and caring. Great ward with great staff. Thank you for making my stay there positive Update. Unfortunately was put in the 136 suite a few days ago where the bathroom was locked and when I knocked on the window and asked them to open it they ignored me. Was left for 7 hours with no food drink or access to a bathroom resulting in me having to wee in the corner of the room. I was then left in my wee stained clothes for a further 19 hours before being discharged. Morning staff were much nicer and did open the bathroom in the morning but I had no clothes to change into. Left traumatized and hope i never have to go back there.

I found this place to be one of the best hospitals I have been in I have mentally unwell for some time and I attempted suicide many times but this place saved me from myself they helped me and showed me what its like to be cared for all these people say that Rydon is a living hell its far from it its saves people when they are at their lowest and keeps them alive mental health services are not appreciated enough for there work they try their hardest everyday to help every patient and me personally I feel like they did and are still doing an amazing job with me if it wasnt for them I wouldnt be here all the staff believe in me and see something. In me that I cant see at the moment and I will forever appreciate Rydon and the staff for saving me at my lowest
