As soon as i got into work i called 101 and put through to the police to inform them about it. Being in the middle of the road and at the fastest part of the road i thought they might want to see to it and most importantly inform the family that their pet had deceased. The lady on the phone had to ask her supervisor who then informed me that the council deals with that. And that was it!
Very caring bunch. Looked up the council and they don't take calls until 08:30, by which point there will be plenty of traffic and will cause all sorts of problems, problems that could have been sorted immediately if our local police wasn't too lazy to help the public!
Disgusted to say the least.
