eat the bird

I don't really understand the good reviews here. 5 of us recently ate here for the first time. My mother-in-law had a chicken wrap and commented it was the worst food she has ever eaten, my daughter ate a few bites of her chicken wings and couldn't eat anymore and she normally loves chicken wings, my husband ordered small portion of chicken as well and thought it was awful, the sauce in my food made me sick afterwards. Chips were very dry and tasteless. I think a few people who don't know good food run this place.

An amazing night at Eat The Bird, the food was incredible and Gordon totally looked after us with fantastic service above and beyond. Best specialist burgers in Taunton hands down. Should be everyones first choice.

Popped in for the 1st time today after hearing about it months ago and making a note to go. It did not disapoint! Banging chicken and the whole family loved it, even my fussy kids! We tried bits of everything from Chicken, Wings, Dirty Fries and milkshakes - all was spot on and I couldn't fault. With cricket season around the corner it would end a day at the county ground perfectly!
