The crew who came to my 999 call-out this morning simply amazed me with their total professionalism, coupled with a wonderful next-door kind of friendliness. Calmed me in moments; checked me more thoroughly than my GP ever did and finally left with me carrying the happiest smile I've had for ages. Becky (student) wrote me a crib sheet to help my breathing - which is brilliant. Her colleague supported her totally and did all the background stuff - so smoothly that I hardly noticed him at work. They might not have literally "saved my life" but they did a lot for my peace of mind and my sanity! Simply the best!

An Ambulance was called out to me by 111 just before Christmas last year, the crew came out very quickly. There was a young woman and a really nice man crew. The woman said were not meant to be called out for this kind of thing? At that point she had just entered the room? She had no idea really what was wrong ? I had chest pains could hardly breathe. I said are you having a go at me? She said yes as basically they should not have been called out. I explained that 111 had called them out. I thought I was dyeing as I was so unwell..this was the last thing I expected or needed and felt so humiliated. I would never and have never called an ambulance out unnecessarily.

Many thanks to the 3 man crew ( one had curly hair called Ben!) Who looked after my husband sunday morning 19thjuly They were careing & very reassuring at a worrying time. He is now back from weston hosp, after having the treatment he needed... brilliant service thank you
