Cafe at the back serves hor and cold drinks, cakes and biscuits. There's no hot food. Plenty of seating, and a small shop area at the back of the cafe. Plenty to look around and read. Decent sized car park.

A very interesting afternoon - we were there for three hours, but could so easily have spent a lot longer. There are some exhibits which we could never see anywhere else, such as those relating to the Tirpitz, and some very welcoming and well informed volunteers. A particular highlight for me was to be able to sit in an 81 year old jeep - many thanks to the very well informed owner, from the Oxford and Bucks Airborne, for that. I now know so much more about WW2 jeeps than I ever could have dreamed of! Don't forget to stop off at the NAAFI for a spot of refreshment - including a most excellent carrot cake. Definitely a place to visit again!
