I booked an appointment at Enable Orthotics about 6 months ago as I had longstanding pain in my foot which was limiting how often I could run. I had tried physio and other things and nothing helped. The Orthotist at the clinic, Emma, was very welcoming and put me at ease. Following an examination Emma quickly identified the issue and reccomended specially made insoles to offload the painful tendon along with daily exercises to improve my ankle mobilty. The insoles took a while to get used to however after a few weeks I forgot I was wearing the insoles and my pain was completely gone. I am now able to run 3-4 times a week pain free which I certainly wasnt able to do before. I am very greatful this right now as running is the only exercise I am able to do during lock down.

I do a lot of mountain walking and running, and booked an appointment with Emma after experiencing persistent pain on the top of my foot for the previous 12 months or so. I'd also get pretty bad plantar fascitis on the bottom of the same foot after long days in the mountains. In that time I'd tried a combination of stretching exercises, off-the-shelf insoles, and also lots of rest, with nothing really helping. After a full assessment Emma suggested custom insoles as well as daily foot exercises to carry out. 12 months on, I've not had plantar fascitis since, even after some very big mountain days, and the pain on the top of my foot has long since faded away. The insoles themselves are super comfy and very high quality, and are still going strong after loads of mileage. Overall Emma is really friendly and an expert in this area, and I'd highly recommend her to anyone experiencing any kind of foot pain.

I came to see Emma as I've been struggling with plantar fascitis in my feet. Following a full assessment I had molds taken and custom orthotics made for me. After wearing the custom orthotics for a few weeks my pain was completely gone! Emma is clearly an expert in her field. I would recommend her services for anyone suffering with foot pain.
