We did get unlucky with the weather (even for February!) but it probably highlighted a bunch of things that they'd probably get away with in the summer... - No comfortable seating at all in the yurt (Tod). (Though the bed was very comfortable.) - Fairy lights above the bed broken. - Power bank not working. - Too wet for the power stove, therefore no hot water (communal kitchen also didn't have a kettle). - Door to the yurt doesn't close properly and was very draughty - No way to contact anyone - Terrible access to the yurt in the poor weather - distance between the yurt and the sink / toilet etc was a lot further than expected. - bad signage / water damaged notices throughout It's a beautiful part of the world, and we did enjoy getting the log burner going to get the yurt warm. It was nice to switch off for our time here (the good thing about no phone signal / electricity!). No information at all on the surrounding area is provided in the yurt, so it's good to do your research before you arrive (again lack of internet etc. means you can't do any whilst you're there). As it's not cheap (at all!) I couldn't justify giving this anything but two stars.

Amazing!! Absolutely loved staying here. If you like camping (campfire, outdoors, nature) and home comforts (double bed, wood burner, sofa) then this is perfect. Make no mistake, this isn't super luxurious - there's no electricity in the yurt, or running water - and there's no mobile signal (which was great!). If you can't manage a day without your Alexa or fibre broadband then this isn't for you. But if you want a fun, different and adventurous time with your family then book this. We have 3 children (12, 10, 7) they all absolutely loved it! Wish we'd booked for longer. We'll definitely be going back.

Offers discounts, charges full price, says discount will be refunded prior to arrival. Chase discount. Doesn't come. Trip comes and goes. Still no discount. Ignores emails. No water throughout site, previous occupants dirty pots left in accommodation, other guests washing pots in toilet block, toilet block dirty on arrival and not cleaned for duration of stay, toilet roll not replenished. Advertised no telephone signal and only way to contact hosts is via telephone. Worst customer service I've ever seen.
