        National Trust Cliveden is a large set of landscaped gardens and woodland. Suitable for all ages and dogs. The hotel is privately run and normally not accessible to NT visitors but there are some tours of parts of the hotel (check the website). Currently (March 2023) significant maintenance works in the formal garden involving draining and resealing the lakes. Some garden areas closed to allow grass o recover.

        Lovely vistas, energetic walk down to the Thames and back up but, having a dog and wanting a coffee, we weren't allowed in the caf and had to sit outside in the cold and rain. Where I come from, Horsham, not far, we can go in all the cafs without question.
