Good pub in the village of Tanworth in arden home of nick Drake 70s folk singer buried in the local church cemetery .offers good beers and fine dining.

Visited with friends for a birthday nice roast good size portion although the cauliflower cheese was very under cooked so wouldnt order as an extra again. Staff very polite & helpful lovely pub would definitely visit again & good to know dog friendly

Stopped for a quick drink after a morning out before returning to our caravan mid afternoon. Lovely place in a nice village, so we planned to return for dinner. Walked back around 7pm, took our seat and gent came to see us for our food order, wife asked for chicken curry and he said 'I'll have to check with the kitchen'...... ......... He sorted drinks for another table........ ........ After 10-15 minutes, we got his attention, and ordered our food chicken curry, and a rump of lamb. 20 minutes and he returns, no rump, but they can do 2 Lamb chops instead...ok. 10 minutes and no naan breads available for the curry.... couple of slices of garlic bread instead.. Food arrived and was ok, chops were quite well done, but we ate up and had pudding, that arrived quickly and was delicious, I think the chef must specialise in puddings. It wasn't even busy by the way, maybe 3 other tables eating. Really nice pub inside, decor and bar staff but we wouldn't return for food
