Situated off of a quiet lane this attached pair of cottages with free on site parking have an outlook over fields towards woods. There is a shared south facing patio with a lawned area and a hedge separating the holiday lets from the owners property. We had cottage number one, the smaller of the two. The lounge/kitchen/diner was small but functional. The kitchen areas well equiped the dining area had a table for two and the lounge sofa and television. The crockery and cutlery was a mismatch of various shapes and styles. The bedroom had a double bed, a set of drawers and space to hang clothes. The ensuite had a small shower, hand basin and toilet. The problem we found was that the bed was so tight between the wall and the ensuite that the easiest way to get in was to crawl up from the foot. Although generally functional it was small and we had issues with cleanliness and maintenence, safety ( two electrical items repaired with insulation tape.
