Excellent Care from a superb team. I would like to thank Emma ,Carley, Jenna and all the staff at Spring Tree for taking care of Mom. As any family member would be i was apprehensive when i had to arrange for care for mom, but right from our first contact with Spring Tree and the warm welcome we received my mind was put at rest, i was not to be dissapointed the care and support she and the family recieved throughout her stay and during her final days was first class.

I think 1 star is toooo much. I would highly recommend looking round the rest home first before your place your relative in this home. My father came out with what can only be described as a cigarette burn on his arm, strap marks round the ankles and lots of cuts and bruises. My father went in able to walk and talk, after only 3 days he was sedated to the point he couldn't do either, he lost half stone in weight, dehydrated and blood pressure dropped he was very ill. There are no activities to stimulate the minds of the residents. They do NOT go outside ever (look at the outside furniture for proof), also a member of staff said they are under staffed so dont take residents outside ever. When the lift broke down the residents had to stay downstairs, unable to access their rooms and they went without sleep for that night. They are locked in the lounge & dining area to wonder round all day with only one carer in a room with all residents (approx 30) and no access to their bedrooms. When I went no staff had key to leave the room (fire hazard). Lack of professional care, no access to fresh water, trolley had stale water from hours ago I guess (hope not days). Ask yourself would you want to live in this place, could you stand being locked in a room all day with nothing to do, lack of sleep, no fresh air on your face and no access to fresh water. Safe Guarding Team, CQC, local MP (Chris Pincher), and police have all been contacted. Shame on the staff who run Spring Tree and shame on Dr Rais Ahmed Rajput who owns three homes in Tamworth, Dover Cottage & Wilnecote Rest Home. He allows this poor treatment to happen to our Tamworth people.

My father was in spring tree for almost 4 years I have seen a lot going on, comings and goings I have reported them to the cqc still going , since then my father has ended up in hospital very dehydrated (water is free) plus he had a very bad infection ( doctors do come out free if called) I was asked at hospital if I wonted him resuscitated he was that ill ,and after all this my fathers dementia has progressed due to been neglected .not one Porson from spring tree has had the decency to phone myself or my sister to ask how he is doing . I would just like to say the paramedic's made there own report to the safe guarding team concerning my father .which is now being looked into . My father has now moved into a nursing home were he is looked after with dignity and care.
