NO STARS IM AFRAID BE AWARE !!!! Following on from a short 1 night stay in last Friday evening 14/04 myself and 10 others flew in from Spain for a funeral that we was attending, on meeting the rude manager Claire at the door to be told check in was not until 1pm ( although we had pre-arranged for an early check inn) as we was to be at a funeral service for 12.30 after a few moments Claire agreed we could check in that was quick and easy . Given our rooms that was presented clean and tidy . We departed very quickly to attend a funeral of a dear young man . On arrival back later that evening we went straight to bed woke in the morning had our breakfast served by a very happy nice woman nothing was to much trouble. We all set off to head back to Spain . Whilst waiting at East Midlands airport I received a notification that THE GLOBE INN Had taken 200,00 from my account . I contacted them immediately to ask what that fee was for ?? To be told that they had photo graphic evidence of cigarette ash on the window sill ( I am a non smoker and so is my daughter ) I emphasized that it was impossible to be to be told by Claire you had better ask the company you was with THATS OUR POLICY !!!! How very rude !!!! I asked that the Manager Joseph makes contact with me of which she said he would , nearly 1 week on and I have not heard nothing !! Today only just 5 minutes ago I called THE GLOBE INN spoke to Claire to remind her I was waiting to hear and have received nothing I then went on to explain that after speaking to my bank in Spain what they have done is classed as Theft !! To which CLAIRE THE MANAGER hung the telephone up on me. I called back immediately where she chose not to answer the telephone call . GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS CLAIRE I SUGGEST YOU RE-EVALUATE YOUR CURRENT WORKING POSITION BECAUSE YOU HAVE NO EMPATHY OR MANAGEMENT SKILLS WHAT SO EVER !!! .
