Worked well, but need more chargers. 2 other EVs waiting at 8am on a Sunday!

No direction singns for EV charging. Advertised as 120kW and only giving 48kW. One DC charger on motorway services is a joke. No dual charging and no auto charge as announced months ago.

I regularly use the M42, and often use Tamworth for charging up. It is the last charging station before home, if I need a top-up. As an Ecotricity domestic customer I used to get half price electricity at all their chargers, so long distance travel was ultra-cheap, and I could do 150 miles for about 3. Since the Electric Highway was taken over by Gridserve this is no longer the case, and prices are more than double what I was paying. The price is still better than most other networks though, and reliability remains good. Also, Gridserve provide 24/7 phone support, in case of any problems, which is a step up in service. I've been relying on the Electric Highway for all my charging needs for 7 years now, and can honestly say that I have always been able to charge up when I've needed to. The existence of the Electric Highway is the main reason I bought an EV in the first place, and I am so very grateful to Dale Vince, (Ecotricity Founder), for setting it up. It is a problem with Google reviews that anyone can give a malicious one-star review without even having to to say why to justify it. I give a 5-star review, and say why.
