Stephen's Car Sales

I am leaving this review after having purchased a car from this garage at the end of July. I will pre-face this by saying that Stephen was a nice chap who helped us with our queries and everything went smoothly at first. I'm sure plenty of people have been happy with their car and had no issues, I was not so lucky. Our vehicle developed a problem after 6 weeks. Obviously it wasn't covered under warranty, those things are completely useless. Due to the serious nature of the issue (fuel leak), we had a local garage repair the vehicle and covered the cost because warranty refused. I approached Stephen to have the cost of the repair refunded of which a 50 gesture was offered. I found this a little insulting. This didn't even pay for the cost of the part (fuel rail) or even the labor. The after sales care is very bad here. If your car develops a fault you will be pushed and pulled by warranty who in the end, will find a reason to not pay out. Will never touch this dealership again.

I would 100% recommend, very honest and kind. Being a young female, inexperienced and purchasing a car is scary. Stephen took great care of me and answered all my questions. Ive had the vehicle for over a month with NO issues. Apart from when I found a hole in my exhaust. I tried to put it off for about a week but the sound was just too unbearable. I messaged Stephen as soon as I could asking if it's covered within the warranty (shocking, it wasn't haha). But Stephen was great about it, asked me to send him some pictures to figure out how he can help me. He called me the next day to book me in to have it fixed. No extra cost. No questions asked. I was very surprised and impressed with how well he handled the situation. He immediately bought the part needed to replace the exhaust pipe and asked me when I'm available to drive down. His mechanic finished everything within 1 hour. Amazing!! Thank you so much for everything you've done! It's very much appreciated. And please tell your assistant that she can call me anytime for a chat about cats haha
