Worst experience, insulting behaviour very disappointed I felt so bad that I just gave up at the end. The company I work for uses Enterprise for business car rentals, so I have been using enterprise for over 5 years now and never had a problem. But this time after taking an early morning flight from Italy and battling my way through long queues at Stansted I reached the car rental village. After sorting out the paperwork I was given the keys to and directed towards the car. When I found the car in the parking it was a MPV (7-seater). I opened the door and there was a foul/mouldy smell, a quick inspection and I could see white mouldish spots on the seatbelts and overall, the interior was dirty. I went back inside requested for a smaller and cleaner car as it was only me driving back home. Now here lies the problem, a good customer service would have meant that I go back let them know that I don't like the car (for whatever reason) can you please give me another one and they would have happily done that and I would have just gone home but no when I went in I was told this is the only car left which is shocking I told them about the smell and how dirty it is inside but all I got was the same reply again and again. After having a long conversation hoping they will just give me another car it is when I realised that I have been speaking with the manager all along that is when I just gave up. I was offered a re-clean of the interior which I accepted because if the manager is treating me like this in front of other customers, then what is left to argue. The car was cleaned again please see the photos these I took after it had gone for another interior cleaning. At the end just drove the car and got myself home. What a proper let down by a company which has such a big network and fleet of cars. Truly disappointed never have I ever experienced something like this at any other car rental anywhere I have travelled in the world. Please note the booking was made well in advance so it is not a case of they were not expecting. Felt proper discriminatory behaviour or maybe I was just fed up. I will let you the reader be the judge of it.

We arrived at Stansted Airport from Sardinia mid afternoon on Sunday, we were advised that Manchester United were playing at Wembley stadium and trains would be very busy. We decided to hire a car, however, the first car hire Company (Europcar) weren't very helpful at all. Enterprise were brilliant, we hired a car, one-way at a very reasonable price, even cheaper than the train . Service was extremely good. Well done!!

My recommendation is DO NOT USE ENTERPRISE. I'd recommend you hire from Sixt Car Hire, who are in the same building, Sixt provide 100% better, honest, customer service and provide reliable, clean cars. The Enterprise car wasn't clean and smelt foul when we hired it. The car had warning lights intermittently on and off that the car was in transport mode on the drive back to the airport. To top it all Enterprise hit us with a spurious damage claim as they knew we hadn't reduced our excess and we had taken their word that there was no damage when we hired it. Do not trust this company.
