The Priors Green Dental Hive

I came here today for an emergency appointment through 111 & I couldnt be happier with the service, Audrie was really friendly & welcoming, Julita honestly couldnt have been any nicer, she explained everything to me in a way that I understood and it really calmed me down (also heard she has a cracking singing voice which I look forward to hearing), Habib was also great and gave me all my options. Following this visit, I will be leaving my dentist and coming here from now on - would highly recommend!

Is place cant even return a phone call or a whats app text of a childs teeth we are fostering carers and have sent a little girls teeth by whats app that is what was asked and we even phone back a week later but still no call waste of time

Excellent customer service received today. My teenage daughter had 1-2-1 practical help and advice around how to brush her teeth correctly and why. Very insightful and practical advice.

I would advise private patients to book with another popular dentist in Takeley (google!) for faster, cheaper and accurate appointment times. I have not been impressed with my experience at Priors Green Dental Hive. When booking an appointment with the hygienist I was quoted 55 for 30 minutes. This was slightly cheaper than my own orthodontists dental surgery (key factor for me) - so I booked and attended. After the appointment however, I was charged 75. I queried this and the receptionist confirmed it was herself that was the quote she gave me originally and she went to check the difference with the hygienist. She came back and informed me that because my appointment had overrun it would be 75... The appointment over ran by 4 minutes! I wasn't at any point informed/consulted that the appointment would over run or that it was cost me 20 more. I explained I would have attended my own practice, and I wanted to pay the price I was quoted but they put this on me on the spot and I was made to feel quite humiliated for querying it.

My first check up appointment and an absolutely awful experience. Very bad attitude and rather rude at times displayed by the dentist but receptionist was delightful and very professional. I was sat there on the examination chair for a good 10 minutes whilst they were sorting their computer, zero communication as if I was invisible and then when finally they got themselves sorted the dentist refused to start any treatment plan because there are some decays on my teeth. Instead I was put on fluoride toothpaste for the next couple of months. The whole experience was very distressing and I was made to feel belittled. The dentist herself was rather rude and blunt. Rest assured I will not be going there again. Whatever happened to the common courtesy and treating people with some respect!
