I wasted a Sunday making a 5 hour round trip to view a car I was seriously interested in. Enquired online first and a guy called Callem texted me asking to make an appointment. I replied I could come on Sunday if that was possible and the only response to that was, yes we're open till 5pm. On Saturday a guy called Harry emailed me asking when I'd like to view the car. Told him I spoke to Callem and that I was coming on Sunday afternoon. No response. Decided to go anyway and arrived on Sunday around 2.30pm. Callem was nowhere to be found and apparently Harry was busy with something else so I got Wayne instead. From the get go I felt like I was interrupting him from something far more important. After a while figuring out what car I was interested in and where it actually was he drove it to the front of the showroom from somewhere. It was obvious immediately that there had been no attempt to make this car a desirable purchase. It wasn't washed. Stains on pretty much all seats and some odd substance behind the front passenger seat that looked like mould. Not to mention the weird smell inside the car. Tires were pretty much at their last legs and alloys all scuffed. None of this was mentioned in the advert or obvious in the photos. The advert did say it's an ex private hire car but hey, you could at least try to do something about the more obvious fixable issues? Honestly I was expecting a bit more from a car that was just 2 years old. Or at least be honest and mention the issues in the advert. I was faced with silence when I pointed out the worn out tires for example. The missing 3-pin plug charger was apparently somewhere in the showroom for some reason. Err why? From the answers I got it was pretty obvious he didn't know much about the car at all or was unwilling to tell me. When I asked about a test drive or a demo drive I was immediately faced with a question: am I buying it? Err.. well... Why do you think I came here? Are you selling me a car or a very expensive lemon? I'd like to know that first... Overall I felt like I wasn't going to get anything out of these guys unless I commit and pay first. Then I asked if there were any other ones of the same model available and was told no, this is the last one. Yet on my way out I saw another one, much better condition, slightly more expensive in the showroom. Could have been an option but at this point I just felt I couldn't be bothered any more with the dismissive way I was dealt with as an unvalued customer. Just to let you know I had the money in the pocket and the part exchange ready to go. Taking both somewhere else now.

Completely unpleasant experience. Sales person doesnt feels like want to do anything at all apart from asking if we need the details to transfer the rest of the money. There are lots of misleading. The car itself it is good, just dont expect any service at all. Do ask for everything about the car, as they wont tell you nothing like service due, MOT and so on. They advertised themselves as supermarket, so they dont put the price up. But there are other cost to it on the side that they would like you to take on. If you dont need finance, or any extra from them, there will be no service at all.
