I did my research on LED strips and basically wanted to replicate Philips hue lighting (600 ish) for less cost. I wanted to fit these in coving around my newly renovated living room (22 metre perimeter). Upon enquiring with Merkko, they suggested a great RGBW strip with high lumen output (higher than competitors & Philips hue) and all the other relevant information I needed. As this was my first time attempting such a project, the director Justin was happy to speak with me for over 45 minutes to explain how everything could fit together as I wanted it to work with Philips hue app for easy control/use. With the right Meanwell drivers & LED strip lights (Merkko), Gledopto Zigbee controller (Ebay), Philips hue dimmer switch & bridge; I managed to complete the whole project for around 300. I thought this was rather shocking especially when I was quoted 800 from competitors specialising in LED strip lighting for their inferior essential components. ENSURE you do research. When asking a variety of people (inc Philips) if this setup would work, very little could say; but it can be done. Dont just pay full price for a list of components when it can be done for significantly less. Highly recommend Merkko lighting, their customer service and their products. Will definitely use Merkko again, Cannot thank Justin enough.
