Bob is an absolutely top guy with a wealth of knowledge that he is more than happy to share and he is obviously very skilled. I visited Bob a couple of months for some advice having bought a second hand acoustic after years away from playing the guitar. He gave me some pointers and very kindly supplied a set of strings. I returned this week having purchased a Epiphone Les Paul with a faulty pick up switch which he replaced and again gave the guitar a once over and offered advice on the best way to look after guitars. He then showed us some examples of his work, which is absolutely stunning - I say us as my son who is an accomplished guitarist dropped off a bass and an electric to have some work done, for which I am sure he will write a suitably positive review.

I had a nut issue which Bob rectified for me. In the process, he also re-stringed and adjusted the action and intonation. Splendid work, very quick too. Many thanks Bob!

Exceptional service from Bob. I asked him to completely overhaul an acoustic guitar and an electric guitar, and I mean completely overhaul. A totally professional approach to the task. I was very impressed with his commitment to ensuring the finest of jobs. My son has also employed Bob's talents with equal satisfaction. I was recommended Bob by a friend. I just needed a new nut fixed on my Fender semi-acoustic, which Bob fitted beautifully. In the process, he diagnosed that my bridge was too high, causing the neck to bend backwards. So he repaired this too, and also re-stringed and adjusted the action. Splendid work, very quick too.
