        This rating is not reflective of the staff who have always been very helpful. Tadcaster branch is essential to many people in Tadcaster but Halifax have run it into the ground. I switched to Halifax as the last local branch and I like to use my local bank where possible for a number purposes, but when I want to use my local branch I cannot as it isn't open at the right time for anyone who works, it doesn't have the appointment type I need, and the cash machine is inside so when closed on an evening I can't access a cashpoint! No wonder use is dropping.

        Went in to enquire about changing banks and woman on desk was very helpful. So nice to still have a real branch to go into and talk to a human.
