First class service from Mike and the team. We have dealt with a number of web developers in our time an MGT is by far the most experienced and knowledgeable we have worked with. Their google understanding is second to none and the quality of work is far superior to anything we have used before. Our websites and app are professional and user friendly and the the MGT team are always happy to make revisions at short notice. HIGHLY recommended.

I've been working with Mike and Sian for over a year now and happy to have gone through a website launch and a phase 2 development of the site. The new website has nearly tripled in visitors and the SEO has significantly improved off the back of a new, user friendly and interactive website. Its been a delight working with both Mike and Sian and I look forward to continue working with them on future projects.

I've worked with MGT Design for 10 years and I highly recommend their services. They designed our initial website, Mike was innovative, easy to work with, we had great service and continued to work with them on other projects. This year we decided we needed to "freshen up" our site and once again they did not disappoint. The website is awesome, I didn't think they could surpass their first efforts, but they did and we are very happy. Both Mike and Sian are great people, they kept us up to date every step of the way, they listened, understood and over delivered, what more can an individual or a business ask for. Sian also supports us weekly, with our needs in other areas of technology. Do not hesitate to make contact with them, you will not be disappointed.

Lied directly to my face when I asked whether he used Indian developers. Kept getting things wrong, terrible English, total amateur outfit. Websites are expensive. I wasted a lot of money by choosing this company.

We've purchased a custom app from MGT with a whole additional layer of products from loyalty to reservations to wait-list. It's been a struggle on a couple of fronts; we've found out some things. Our process is ongoing, and we are currently trying to salvage some part of the 14,000 we've given MGT. At the moment, we don't have an implemented product. So far, we've visited MGT, and Mike used one of our holiday homes with his family - so I feel like we understand the setup of the firm and the company. The firm consists of Mike, his dad as a director (who mike, in a previous conversation, had mentioned he was in place for tax purposes) and Sian - this is mikes sister - see smart restaurants google reviews. There rented offices at sydwell aerodrome are nice. But I don't believe we've spoken with another member of the team. In fact, I'd be as confident as to say that there isn't anyone else. We paid for a scoping exercise with Mike and received some feedback, and after this, we agreed to go ahead. Now we are a non-technical firm; we own and operate gyms, restaurants and short-term holiday rents. We have an operational discussion knowledge of API's and such; we aren't in the position to assess our chances of implementing such products - it's why we've sought out a firm to provide this and not done it in-house. We encunted a few stumbling blocks, and it was clear that we need to assist far more than we've ever understood; just in terms of how things worked - whilst we were lead to believe we'd acquired a "bespoke" product; it feels a lot more like we've been made to fit into an existing product with a few sections changed. A great example of this is our EPOS system - we've been asked repeatedly if we can change to MGT's preferred operator - power epos. Another firm provides our payments gateway, but we couldn't use them because MGT has a relationship with payment sense (payment sense can't facilitate ubiquitous things like apple and aroid pay). We've also had additional bits added that we haven't asked for, such as a manager app which doesn't fit into our operations, but it seems like it's the only way for it to function. As you can probably tell, There's a fair bit to the story - at some stages, we've struggled to communicate and have requested a refund for the project. We'd have even taken a decent drop hands settlement and moved on with our lives - but Mike explained that his wife is on maternity leave and they can't afford it. - overall, we aren't happy; we'd struggle to recommend them at this stage. We even had some quite personal requests about tax and estate planning upon the death of Mikes grandad, what to do with the house he's been living in, and the best strategies regarding taxation and death duties. Overall it's difficult to describe this situation other than it's been a long time, we've paid over 14,000, Mike and his family have had free use of one of our 500 a night holiday homes, he's asked for tax advice on his grandfather's death?!?, and we don't have a working product. But recently, we've been in communication with Mikes dad - Bernard, who's sent us a report saying it's all done to the brief, so we are looking forward to the launch and will update this review to a presumably full of glowing praise 5 stars when this happens. So we are excited about it.
