Had a terrible terrible experience. Camped at Silverstone camping for the Silverstone Classic event. No on site staff or security overnight for this event, which left people to do as they wished. Generators running until the v early hours and starting again at 6am. People partying until 2:30am on the first night with excessively loud music. On the second night after complaining, they were still people shouting and hollering until 1:30am. Was told there was nothing they could do. No real apology. Lucky if I had 3-4 hours sleep a night. I couldve accepted noise until 12am but 2:30 was just ridiculous. No respect for fellow campers. Will not be coming back.

Over the previous 12 years Litchlake campsite has been very good. However our experience in 2021 in the new location wasn't very good. The lack of lavatory paper, and the limited provision of men's toilets (1 block when previously there'd been 2) proved a problem. Compounded by a small minority who decided to use green hand towels which blocked the lavatories. The hygiene of some campers was very bad. The staff were polite but struggled to maintain the lavatories as there were insufficient toilet blocks for the number of men on site. The loud music from the bar and generators was extremely irritating. The new owners should consider removing paper hand towels, introduce hand driers, perhaps powered by solar energy. More men's lavatories required in future.
