Mans must wait outside! This is what I heard from young recepcinist woman. Place is strictly aganist mens, with ,,woke,, staff trying to prove something in this ocasion. Avoid!

Cannot fault the care I received here throughout my entire pregnancy and birth. The staff in all departments are sensational, all of my appointments were on time and if I ever had any concerns, triage was available and I never waited long to be seen and reassured. My birth wasn't the easiest but the staff were professional, knowledgeable and made me feel at ease throughout the entire process which should have been very daunting but wasn't. Thankyou so much!

Having delivered my first child at this hospital, I was overwhelmed by the pure kindness, professionalism and care from all staff I came across, right from the antinatal team, to everyone in the Labour ward to the support in the postnatal team. Becoming a mother is incredible but daunting, however thanks to those at this hospital, I felt safe and supported throughout. I will forever be grateful to those amazing people. For any expecting parents, this hospital is just a brilliant place.

I would like to rate 00000 .very bad midwives they are racist . The 1st one called susan amber . She never helps me while pregnant and she told i was busy with my patients lol like im not her patient too . Ive made complaint and change it and they send me to another one called Laura Silvana Adragna who does not want to give me her contact details which is my right . Im pregnant on 30 week now and im sick and would like to do some blood test but unfortunately i dont have midwife number to contact her . Do u find that fair ? I let people give rate if they are in my place . While lobor i had the worst experiance ever. As I had and emergency c section when finished they put me in room 10 which so cold in winter time . Im sick till now from my back because the midwives didnt wear me my pyjama also my son he got after that infection on his chest because of cold. Also i had experiance with some racist nurse. She is white with long black hair and she put glasses when i ring the bell and she came she told me i do favor to bring your babys milk . It was the 2nd day after my delivery so i couldnt wake up to do it by myself . I did complaint to her manager Sarah but she didnt do nothing for me. Just came and bring some lady who starts ask me some question about my private life like if im abused or not . Thing idiot and strange in same time its like i made complaint against my husband lol not the midwife. After they put me upstairs the most of stuff are lazy and they like if we do their jobs exept some nurse from phelippine called Ninette she is so kind and profesional and really likes her job otherwise i didnt meet any good person there . Especially some africain who works night shift when i tried to wake up the 1st time and would like to go to toilet i ask her to help and support me, she refuses and she was so rude saying to me if she gonna help me i will never walk by myself lol . Anyway in conclusion this is the worst maternity ever . If i will have my 2nd baby i will never go back to that hospital honestly. Because from i was pregnant till i delivered never had been treated well .

I just want to express my heartfelt thanks to Clare, Valentina, Kim who looked after me so well and helped to deliver my beautiful daughter on Saturday 1st of April they were amazing and made sure I was comfortable as possible, 100 percent attention given and made sure myself, partner and best friend were in the know at all times. One thing I will mention but won't include it in the rating as that is purely based on the midwives care, is that 2 doctors that day were quite pushy when it came to the oxytocin drip and having an epidural. I didn't want either as I feel I know my body and felt the instinct to have neither. I didn't have the epidural, despite being told before I even went into labour that this would be the best thing for me and baby but the drip on the other hand - the doctor used language that made me feel that I had to have it otherwise I wouldn't deliver a healthy baby and end up in with a C-section which was totally exaggerated but when you have a doctor telling you this ofcourse you feel compelled to do what they advise despite me insisting that my contractions are coming quicker and harder, despite me begging please just let me have an hour to prove I will reach 4 contractions every ten minutes but no I was told this was dangerous. Lo and behold the doctor was wrong my contractions as I predicted increased within 15 mins of the cannula being inserted thankfully the midwives had already recognised this and the drip hadn't yet been released into my body, I was unhooked from it and proceeded as I had wanted originally, to go with my instincts and what my body was telling me. I'm so lucky to have the most amazing midwives who knew what I needed especially in a situation where the doctor is railroading you like that. The moral of the story is, if you feel something isn't right and you know your body, trust your instinct because doctors are not always right don't let them persuade you by using 'guilt' language and do your research too. Anyway thank you again to the amazing midwives at St Mary's you are absolute angels
