Had an Emergency insurance cover with Allianz. Due to the recent heavy rain and high winds our roof leaked through and brought down a portion of our ceiling. My parents are elderly and have mobility issues so needed a quick response. We were informed that a roofer would come but do to high demand it would be a weeks wait! Roofer came and wasnt at all interested and said roofs old so wear and tear. He didnt even try to at least cover the damaged area of roof making it water tight! Allianz informed me of the decision that nothing could be done under this insurance. Total waste of time and money paying the extra and definitely wont consider it again. Purchased through Halifax home insurance
