The Courtyard Restaurant Syon Park

Unfortunately we couldnt eat. They were very busy at lunch time and didnt manage to seat us then rearranged the queue so some people were able to cut it and took the order of the people behind me. We just wanted a quick light meal before heading home and this restaurant looks designed for this purpose but the staff looks a bit overwhelmed by the task. When I asked at the tile how long the order will take to come (to organise ourselves with our toddler) I had a look around you. So I guess I should deduce that it was going to be long? We had to go given the visible struggle to get food. It ruined a bit out otherwise wonderful day in Syon Park as we love coming here. Every time it is a problem to eat or drink in Syon, the cafe has the same problem, next time we will have to bring everything with us or come at the restaurant at 11am

Went for lunch today with my daughter. Very disappointed by the food. We order chicken pieces with chips and peas from the kids menu and I ordered a fish & chips. The peas were not cooked properly, and everything else was clearly out of a frozen bag like the ones you get from the supermarket. It tasted so cheap and fake I am sorry we went. Pity because the atmosphere is great and the staff really lovely. I am not sure we will eat there again, maybe for an afternoon tea as the cakes looked good.
