        Small, but well presented throughout. Beehive was ideal as a base for exploring Dorset and beyond. Beehive has everything you need. There's a good selection of games, books and walks. It's quiet too and has some good views. Eype has a pub - The New Inn - within staggering distance of Beehive Cottage and serves excellent ale and damn decent food. The beach is a 10 - 15 walk down the lane but be aware it's pebbles not soft sand. It is possible to walk along the beech to West Bay but the coastal path offers commanding views. We loved so much at Beehive we've booked to return next year!
