Dont know about rooms as only went in the bar, but the bar area was lovely and clean and tidy and also the ladies toilets. Arrived just as the kitchen was closing but the cook/chef still said they would do us a meal, we decided just to have cheesy chips and garlic bread, they came out quickly and really hot, they were lovely. The staff was helpful and didn't mind asking the kitchen if they would mind cooking. The beer was good and I had a lovely coffee which was also lovely and hot. The pub is dog friendly, there is really nice seating area outside (some covered) the village looked very picturesque ( it was raining so couldn't have a wander around it) we would go there again if passing that way.

It's a quaint little place. We called for lunch but were informed at 14:02 that the kitchen was closed. There is nowhere on the website informing of this. It clearly states the All day menu April 2023. We turned off the main road to find this place so it was somewhat annoying but the drive through the tiny lanes was nice enough. The service was fine and the person behind the bar was pleasant.
