I booked a taxi calling Penge cabs yesterday and got a driver from London cars instead. I assumed Penge cabs had changed ownership. After the ride, I was billed a range (?6.20 to 7.55) to which I alerted the driver. He claimed it was to give a leeway for 'waiting time' and since I didn't delay the ride the balance will be refunded to my account. Their Keen Group process of paying by card was tedious and time-wasting too! I sent an sms to London cars (no response), followed up with a call a couple of hours later and the story had changed as they claim to have added the extra 1+ because I used my card for payment! The receptionist was equally rude while at it. Lesson learnt: It's not advisable to go cashless with these dupes.

Absolutely disgusting service and as for the receptionist wouldnt even waste my time ever again with them. Family member had a heart operation booked at KCH and called in advance for a taxi (2days) for 7.20am. Taxi turns up at 8am while the receptionist blames the weather the driver informs that it was the office not allocating the job. Payment requested in advance 21. Told that its a call centre also. Waiting on a complaint form to be sent by email. Will never again use them as their attitude is terrible and their customer mean little to them. This cab station has been going down hill for a few years now. Never thought I would say this but Use UBER GUYS DONT WASTE YOUR TIME.

No card payments in 2023. And if you use the web link to pay it charges and extra 2.50. just call Uber.
