Scarred after using this salon as my hairdresser for 9 months. They fill the kettle up with water from the hair basin (gross). If youre getting extensions, be prepared to do some work yourself and pass each extension over to the hairdresser each time do she can fit them - 4 hours of work which is meant to be a relaxing and pamper service for the customer. They might be a bit cheaper than other salons in the area but completely not worth saving the bit of extra money. My hair story with Iconic: I was very clear about what I wanted during my consultation, and was very clear about my hair history. A stand test wasnt performed and I mentioned consistently that I was worried about the condition of my hair if my hair would be able to take services the hairdresser suggested. They ended up bleaching my whole head during my first appointment, with the strongest volume (30 vol) and also left it on for 1.5 hours - I believe they forgot about me due to the salon being too busy. My hairdresser said it would be fine because she added olaplex - which of course, any good hairdresser knows that olaplex cannot protect the hair like this. The hairdresser knew the damage she had made to my hair the second she started brushing it out, but used the excuse of: its stringy because weve backcombed your hair. They tried to dye it my desired colour, but it ended up being yellow and red - not what I wanted or asked for. I stated that I wasnt happy with the colour. They ended up reapplying the same colour but then I ended up with a band around my whole head, where it hasnt been properly blended. The hairdresser knew of the error and told me to pretend to complain so I could come back the next day and get my hair rectified. She didnt want to manager to know. Such bad professionalism - when she knew it was bad but had to lie to be able to get it rectified for me! I then went back the next day and my hair was completely burnt off and all of my hair was just falling out and snapping every time I brushed it. I told my hairdresser this and she said its fine, it just needs some conditioning. She then re-dyed my hair and it went completely orange! The complete opposite of what I asked for: a natural ginger. The orange did fade over the next few days, but the condition of my hair was completely ruined. I ended up getting extensions to try and make my hair look a bit better. The application of the extensions was so bad! She completely didnt add any to the front of my hair, or blend in the extensions. It looked so bad! I went back again and bought MORE hair so she could add some to the front. I ended up with 220g in my hair. The extensions also didnt match my hair AT ALL. I was so embarrassed to go out as it looked that bad, and even more embarrassing that I had spent over 800 at this stage. My extensions ended up a dark red/ginger, with my natural hair being much lighter. I did go back for 2 refits and full head of colour applications, as I felt I needed to stick with them now since they knew what theyve applied and done to my hair and I hoped they would try and fix it. Each time I went back the extensions would just get darker and got even more mismatched. I told my hairdresser of my concerns. For my refit sessions, I would be in the salon from 9.30am and not leave until 5pm. Completely unreasonable. I feel really bad leaving this review as they are all nice women but this salon has left me with irreversible damage to my hair. I found a new salon who were able to help me and now Im perfectly happy with my colour and how well my extensions match. Credit to Reform in Walkden! Just down the road from Iconic and a much better service all round.

Bad quality and injured. I went for a Brazilian wax and after the therapist asked if I wanted it all off and I said yes, she left lots of hair. I had to do more hair removal myself at home so it felt like a waste of money. I also got a blood bruise and pretty bad wax burn which was extremely sore and sensitive. Nice people and atmosphere but won't be returning until there is better training. Service: Body waxing

Always nervous with a new hairdresser but was over the moon. Staff were lovely and cut and styled my hair exactly how I wanted it. I will be back.
