Bought a CAT B bike which is completely illegal. I didn't realise at the time. Trading standards sorted me out. Took around 6 months to get a refund. No wonder the owner driver around in an Audi R8 selling non-roadworthy bikes he probably pays 10% of the sale cost for. After a year I got my refund via trading standards.

FIVE STARS ***** RECOMMENDED DEALER!! After my Kawasaki 2006 ZX10R was written-off in a low speed accident, I was shopping for a replacement and found a beautiful, unique green and black example at BudgetBikes for a very reasonable price. I went to view the bike and decided I to buy it. BudgetBikes were prompt in preparing the bike for collection and contacted me a few days later to say the bike was ready. On the day of picking it up and riding it home (87miles), I arrived very late in the day and unfortunately didn't have time to test-ride. I trusted that if there was an issue, that I would find out very soon and BudgetBikes would sort it out. This trust wasn't unfounded - Although the bike appeared to run fine at first (and could have easily have been missed on an inspection or test-ride), it developed a misfiring issue at low-revs after about a week. I phoned BudgetBikes and arranged to bring the bike in (OK at high revs). The problem was dealt with swiftly by their team of mechanics, who diagnosed and repaired the issue and even threw in a set of new spark plugs for good measure (which they didn't have to). The bike was ready to collect again in just a few days and it now runs absolutely perfectly. Thanks BudgetBikes. Special thanks to Adam for friendly and helpful customer service. :D
