We've used Gemma at SW Mortgages recently for mortgage and Gemma was exceptionally knowledgeable, understanding and professional. SW Mortgages have access to very competitive mortgage rates and Gemma carefully listened to our situation and secured us a very good mortgage rate available. She even worked on weekend/Saturday to get our application submitted in time to avoid rates hike/product withdrawal in October 2022. My partner and I used Richard and Jo at south west mortgages to buy our first home after being recommended by so many other people. They helped us all the way through, securing our mortgage and helping us to completion alongside our many questions. Recently completed on a 3 person mortgage using South West Mortgages and had a first class service. Richard was our advisor and did a great job with helping us choice the right deals and offers for our specific requirements.. We always felt in really good hands and nothing was too much trouble for him and the team. Richards administrator Jo was especially helpful and always at hand for queries. I also liked the way we were able to have a Whats App group chat setup with Richard, which meant we were able to ask any questions at any time and know we would get a prompt response. I would highly recommend them :)

Richard was insightful and helpful with the remortgage. However, the soliciting partners used by South West Mortgages ( Sort Legal ) were painful and laborious. Considering the remortgage process was initiated around mid January, it wasn't completed until mid April. To add Sort Legal weren't very clear on the documentation needed which ended in costing us further additional cash that was not accounted for at the start of the procedure. In closing, I would definitely recommend Richard however I am on the fence with the soliciting company they partner with.

Good service! Richard is very professional and explained every step of the mortgage process in detail. He got involved entirely to make sure our remortgage was catered to our needs. The only disappointment was Sort Legal ( Solicitors ) who helped with the remortgage process. Poor communication and no promptness but Richard helped with that and we got there.
