I wouldn't use Carpetright ever again. The estimator missed key things hence the carpet fitters didn't bring said things to fit (caused a load of hassle). Scratched metal door dividers. Sections of underlay cut and pieced in on stairs on the flat parts (surely that isn't the correct way to fit underlay with 10cm bits of it!! - it is strange that I was left with a load of excess carpet remnants but no extra underlay - clearly another money making exercise by either the carpet fitters or the store!). Carpet fitters broke wall tiles in the kitchen. On the positive side the carpet appears of good quality. Overall an expensive and unpleasant experience (not one I would want to pay thousands of pounds for again, life is too short)..

A very disappointing visit today. Walked in potentially ready to buy hard flooring for two rooms and carpet for two rooms. Five people sitting down, no other customers and not one person got up to welcome/offer assistance or even acknowledge our presence. The chap who did finally help completed our purchase for hard flooring. Whilst that was being done I looked at carpet, not one of the other four engaged with me on any level. So we will go to somewhere else with our 2,000 carpet budget. Would be happy to talk through my experience with Carpeteight.
