Update- I just want to say a massive thank you to Martyn the owner of technoquip, not only did he take the time out of his day to personally apologise to me, but he also offered to reimburse me the extra amount I paid from my quote! Im not one to leave bad reviews.. I personally know how much it can affect a business, however I also understand that sometimes people can become complacent, I left my review in hopes that they would take on board how I felt and not let it happen to anyone else. So again Thankyou Martyn most businesses wouldnt take the time to call and personally apologise, let alone offer a reimbursement! I appreciate you calling me! My partner will be coming here for his MOT at the end of April Bought my car here for an MOT, being that I had been recommended for the brilliant service they had provided my partner over the last year, however not once did they contact me to tell me the mot had been done and it had failed I had to call them. They then quoted me 370 for the repairs to which I had agreed to. After waiting just over a week which was fine as I told them I was happy to wait being that I didnt need the car straight away I then had to call them again to ask whether it was ready. The lady at the front desk told me that the car was all ready to be picked up and that she would call me back with the price of everything, again did not receive a phone call so I walked there to go retrieve my car, when I got there I was then told that the car was actually 555 after finding that it needed a censor. Which is fine. What isnt fine is that they didnt call me to check that I still wanted the work done. Being that Im an 18 year old girl the jump from 370- 555 is a lot. If it had been a little extra I wouldve been fine with that. But an extra 185 without asking whether Im happy to proceed with the repairs is not okay. I felt that the lady at the front desk was also very abrupt and belittling. Wont be coming back
