Optimum Professional Services

I have used Optimum Professional Services (OPS) for accountancy, tax, book keeping and advice since I started my business (I run a small management consulting practice). Everybody in OPS is incredible professional, helpful and they will bend over backwards to get things done. Running a business is hard enough: Finding clients, developing materials and delivering to contracts. I let the team at OPS deal with my accounting admin and they do a great job. It's also nice to have a chat with them every now and again - I always feel they are on my side and understand my needs! I recommend the team without hesitation.

We have used Karen before when selling our home and so when moving again she was our first choice. Karen dealt with the sale and purchase this time around. Clear, concise advice. Great communication and pushed the other side when needed to. We can not recommend the value of having an experienced, committed conveyancer high enough. We were in the process of selling our property and buying another, Optimum in Ermin Street was recommended by a dear friend in the property business, and I'm telling you it was the best recommendation I've had so far this year. Karen and her staff were spot on from day one, explained everything to us regarding both sale and purchase and how the process works. We are both pensioners so not in touch with the long drawn out process after 25 years- things have certainly changed. Karen had to put up with my moaning about the vendor's solicitor and my constant calls to explain things we were not sure off, even put up with my swearing at times ( not at her), but we got their in the end. Their patience throughout was superb.. cost for both sale and purchase was also amazing.. (thank you) now a cruise ? With the difference. I have already recommended a couple of work colleagues and taking my property friend to lunch for this great recommendation. Thanks again to all at Optimum..

Steer well clear. The service we have received from Iain Mason and the Optimum firm has been shockingly bad. We've lost out thousands of pounds worth of damages and over 6 months of rent from a property that has lay empty while we waited for them to resolve an issue with a tenant. We have been chasing Optimum for answers and updates on what was happening with the case throughout this time. Emails were RARELY responded too and calls were almost NEVER returned. Iain Mason - Head of Legal - who had been dealing with the case came to see us to resolve things, there was no mention of an apology or acknowledgement of the debacle, how rude can people be?! Following that meeting, and after many promises made, we received an email from the Optimum team saying that they had returned the tenant's full deposit and sent them on their way!!! We were SHOCKED. Despite clear criminal damage that the tenant inflicted on our property, it turns out that the incompetence of the Optimum team had let the tenant off scot free. Needless to say we will be reporting this firm to the CLC, pursuing legal proceedings to reclaim our losses and advising others to CAREFULLY consider their options when looking to engage such a law firm.
