Wow! Just got back from an overnight stay here. We were celebrating my wife's birthday and mothers day. We arrived at around midday a few hours before check-in, so we decided to have a little lunch in the bar area which arrived promptly and was really nice. We used the leisure facilities, which were very clean, including the changing room. The facilities included a pool, spa pool, sauna and steam room, with plenty of sun loungers dotted around. We checked in at around 1700 which was quick and easy. The room was an executive double, with a balcony which was quite spacious and overlooked a very nice view. There was everything you could ever need in the room, and it was extremely clean. We booked reservations at the Flame restaurant, I do recommend the Seared Duck and the Blade of Beef. The remainder of the evening was spent in the main bar, as we worked through the list of cocktails. There is plenty for kids to do in the bar, with table top football and a mixture of game consoles/arcade games. The next day we went down for breakfast, where there was a wide variety to satisfy all preferences. As an extra treat for mothers, the wife spent the morning poolside, while I rallied the kids from babysitters and enjoyed a mothers day high tea, with an assortment of sandwiches, cakes and other yummies. All in all, a fantastic stay, very much needed and surpassed all expectations.
