Whilst attending a recent festival, Julie found me in 'balance denial' , just before going for a walk. I had given up on my poor balance as 'one of those things that I can't change'... This also had other consequences in stiffness in joints and some lower-back ache after an hour or so of city walking. It took Julie 10 minutes to demonstrate what could be achieved by questioning my acceptance of the status quo and some suggestions for walking to release my hip and knee rather than tightening it. My walk felt very different. The next day she demonstrated again in a few minutes (the seemingly magical) Voxx HTP insoles specifically for my balance. I was amazed. Julie's short time with me has fundamentally changed the way my feet interact with the ground and shoes. That was a week ago and my feet still meet the ground in a completely different way, especially while walking.

I saw Julie a while back to help with lower back pain caused by standing for long periods of time. She explained her approach to me (and, as a personal trainer, I like to know that people know what they're doing to my body), eased my pain and gave me techniques to use in the future.

After having a car accident, my mind kept obsessively going back over it, thinking about what I might have been able to do differently and was left feeling guilty about it. This was stopping me from being able to concentrate, and work effectively. I was not necessarily taking the right actions or decisions. After seeing Julie I was able to let go of the guilt in just one session and allow myself to move forward with clarity and ease. She also enabled me to become aware that my pattern of trying to fix things (that can't necessarily be fixed) and be strong had originated in an earlier shock and that behaviour/attitude was no longer supporting me nor my family and I no longer needed to be this way. It's such a relief to be able to move forward so quickly and I wish I had come to you earlier. Now that I have experienced this and been transformed, I am no longer reacting I am active in creating the future I want! Thank you very much Julie for giving me a new lease of life, I can breathe again!
