Britz Fish & Chips

The food was gash! The staff were rude, especially the one who was in charge. There was food missing from the order too. If you want great fish and chips youd be better off looking in the bins of any other chip shop except this one.

Best fish and chips Ive had for a while the fish was huge and more to the point crispy batter and well cooked to perfection this is a must your getting more for your buck 10 +

Dont normally write reviews but on this occasion I have decided to make an exception. Ordered a large chips and it is what can only be described as a small tray of chips compared to any other fish and chip shop I have ever been to, including those in the swindon area. The burger ordered was awful and came with a soggy bun. Chips had no option to put salt or vinegar on so came completely plain. The only positive was the pukka pie was a standard pukka pie

The fish was dripping with oil! The fish cakes are dry with chunky, hard bits inside. We ordered a large chips and got what looked like a small! Will not be returning.

Been going to Britz forever until went there one night just before they were about to close ordered cod and chips and pie and chips served by the man who is now the manager got home no cod?phoned them told we are closed fryers turned off cant help went in a few days later ordered cod and chips assumed chips would be free considering no cod with previous order only to be accused of lying by the manager in front of a queue of customers more or less said i had the cod the other night how dare he i am a local with an excellent reputation i will never ever go there again shame on you Britz
